Breeze Liquid Detergent Feedback

Breeze Liquid Detergent
Friction! Friction!

I have been doing a product review for the past 12 years now and this is the first time that I changed my approach. In case you need to remember, here is the link to all the reviews that I did: Looking at it now, I can’t help but laugh at myself for appearing to be ranting about the products that disappointed me instead of taking the high road of talking directly with the proper channels to air my grievances.

A month ago, I decided to try Breeze Liquid Detergent for our top load washing machine. Before Breeze, I used a low foam powder detergent but I noticed some chalk build-up on the drain area. This powder detergent residue is not good for the washing machine and it might affect the service life of the unit. So, to cut the story short, the reason why I switched to Breeze was to take care of the automatic washing machine and maximize its service life.

Switching to the new brand is not difficult; I love the mild scent of the Breeze Liquid Detergent! As a bonus, I did not expect it to be economical, too. One bottle cap can do 15 clothes depending upon the thickness and of course, the level of dirtiness. The downside is, if you hold the bottle with wet hands, it is prone to slipping because of the lack of friction or handle on the body of the bottle. Please take note that I am talking about the 1000 mL bottle; the larger bottles have a handle. Because of this issue, I wanted to do a product review about this but I realized that during the past 12 years, nothing materialized out of my product reviews; be it a good review or a bad review. Certainly, my readers were able to get a tip on which product is okay and which product they should avoid but at the end of the day, the improvement that I have wanted did not happen.

The improvement that I longed for did not happen because I was busy making product reviews but I failed to communicate my concern on the proper channels. Well, I tried doing so with Unilever (for Breeze) last December 22nd and I was surprised because their consumer engagement team was quick to reply.

My message was simple, I suggested adding some friction on the body of the bottle if putting a handle is too much of a change. Should their design engineers take my feedback seriously, I don’t even expect the change to happen until they exhausted all of their current bottle inventories and until they make mold modifications to include this new feature. But hey, they should have added some friction on the bottle during the design stage, right?

Anyway, let’s wait and see if Unilever will consider my suggestion. Who knows, I’m not the only one who expressed an opinion about this. I think that writing to the companies and expressing our joy or disappointment in their products is more direct, proactive, and expected to yield better results later.

Tocoma for Detox

Starting November 2018, there was a surge in my sugar consumption and the result was a sugar overload characterized by fluctuating energy level, puffy face and slow metabolism. I had a sick feeling similar to intoxication. I had my annual physical exam last December 21st; the result would be forwarded to the company by January 2019. I am expecting unfavorable result on my blood sugar level.

I decided to do some detoxification during the holiday break but I was clueless where to start. Will lemon with water do? I’ve done that and it didn’t have any significant effect on me. Then I chanced upon this FB page about a powerful detox drink named Tocoma.

I used to be doubtful of online shopping as I was the type who would like to see the merchandise before spending money on it. I checked on Mercury Drug and Watson and unfortunately, they do not have Tocoma. So, I decided to order it online through the FB page “Tocoma- Natural Juice Colon Detoxifier and Cleanser.” Take note that I am not being paid to advertise this FB page; I mentioned this page just in case you want to order because I’m a happy and satisfied customer in terms of their reliability.

I ordered the cheapest that they could offer with 7 sachets in the box. Here are the significant effects of Tocoma on me:

  1. My sugar cravings stopped. On the 4th day, I had sugar withdrawal symptoms like headache but it’s a natural effect of detoxification.
  2. I had an unexplained pain on my right thumb that went away after the 3rd detoxification day.
  3. I am more energetic now than before.
  4. My puffy face went away.
  5. My metabolism is back on track.

If you have other health issues like high visceral fat, frequently constipated etc— Tocoma might be the solution for you. It’s a good product but a little pricey though.

What I learned from Triaba

I registered to Triaba Philippines one August night for the purpose of checking whether survey websites are worth our time and attention. Here’s the tempting offer from Triaba, if your profile matches with the population that they require for in their survey questionnaire, then you will even be paid for every survey that you will answer. Pay ranges from PhP 20.00 to PhP90.00.

But first, you need to register on their website and check all applicable descriptions about you so that Triaba can better filter out who is in for their survey. By the way, I read that Triaba is a survey provider for some big companies out there so they are being paid by these companies to do the surveying for them.

I did a screenshot of how the survey looks like. The second to the last picture in which I selected ALL the industries that I am familiar with resulted to me not being qualified for the survey? Like, I would have understood if I only selected two industries because the ones that I did not ticked might be where the survey must proceed so what made me disqualified for the survey then?

The third attempt to answer a Triaba survey would be my last. I decided that Triaba is a waste of my time and data usage so I unregistered from their site. I learned that online surveys do not really work as expected. While I believe that there are some people who successfully completed the survey and got their payment, this does not work for everybody especially the ones who are looking forward to the payment.

Triaba will send you a survey invitation on the email that you linked with your Triaba account. You have the option to decline the survey invitation.

This is how the email looks like. If you successfully completed the survey, your account will earn PhP21.00.

For some weird reasons, the PhP21.00 increased to PhP70.00 should you successfully completed the survey! As I said, I put my profile on the registration so the matching of what they need and how I am qualified is electronically matched.

I selected all the activities for a better chance of “passing.” Take note that at this point, we still don’t know which of the activities are being surveyed on.

I chose my preferred language for the survey. How I wish I tried Filipino-Tagalog before I unregistered!

At this point, we don’t know yet their preferred location. I chose Manila because it is the nearest city from where I live.

I selected all of the industries that I am familiar with.

Only to get this message that I am not qualified????

Must Try: Shampoo in a Bar

To all of us who are used to liquid shampoo, shifting to a shampoo bar will take time to get used to it. The reason why I decided to try Beauty Glamour Ph shampoo bar is because I wanted to lessen the number of shampoo bottles that I needed to either recycle or throw away.

Beauty Glamour Ph shampoo bar comes in two variants. I bought the pink shampoo bar. I love the fruity smell! The shape is almost cylindrical but can easily be grasped. The texture reminds me of our good old “panghilod” (stone scrubber).

It normally takes me around less than a minute to shampoo my shoulder-length hair using a liquid shampoo. Now, I need to wet the shampoo bar and stroke the juice on my scalp, using my palm. Running the shampoo bar through your hair is not advisable, else, you’ll end up with messy shampoo bar with hair sticking on it.

There’s nothing really special about Beauty Glamour Ph shampoo bar when it comes to its functionality; that is, to clean your hair and scalp. It doesn’t have the silky finish right after rinsing even it’s being marketed as a shampoo AND conditioner. Yes, it feels clean after rinsing but you still need to use a separate conditioner for that silky after wash feeling. (Rejoice Shampoo is the only shampoo that I don’t pair up with a conditioner).

Some items for improvement though are the following:

  1. Consider making a conditioner bar.
  2. Why not make a shampoo cube that we can dilute instead?

They say that a 150 grams shampoo bar can last up to 80 washes! That’s around two and a half months of use if a person takes a bath once a day or around one and a half months of use if a person takes a bath twice a day. You’ll be saving at least one bottle of a 150 ml-shampoo per month or 12 bottles per person per year!

If you’re an environmentalist, you must try Beauty Glamour Ph shampoo and conditioner.

Recommendation: Foot Peeling Mask

Warning: Graphic images. LOL!

Our feet are the most neglected part of our body. Between a facial and a foot spa, I am more religious when it comes to the former. Don’t get me wrong; I have my foot spa kit at home but my problem was my rough heels. My foot spa session at the salon did not help eliminate that rough part either so I decided to try Purederm Shiny and Soft Foot Peeling Mask.

The foot masks come in a shoe-like wrap; you can wear socks over it. You just leave it for 60 to 90 minutes. The spicy sensation is distracting; wear it off if you can’t tolerate it because your skin might be having allergic reaction to the substance.

After 60 to 90 minutes, remove the mask and wash your feet with water. You can feel the smoothness thereafter. After 7 days, expect the peeling and voila! Better texture and no rough heels!

I got this product from an online seller—my friend, actually. I recommend this product to those who are too busy to go to the spa. It’s cheap, it’s effective and definitely, this will be my new monthly beauty routine!
